QuickBooks Online

QuickBooks is an accounting software package developed and marketed by Intuit. QuickBooks products are geared mainly toward small and medium-sized businesses and offer on-premises accounting applications as well as cloud-based versions that accept business payments, manage and pay bills, and payroll functions.

The Workbooks integration via Zapier only supports QuickBooks Online. QuickBooks Desktop is NOT supported.

To use this integration, you will require licences for:

  • Workbooks CRM Business or Business Pro. See here: https://www.workbooks.com/pricing/
  • Zapier Professional or higher – NOTE: Lower plans may work, but have a less frequent sync time and support fewer features such as logic in your Zaps which might be required to suit your business requirements. For example, if you use the Workbooks Multi-Own Organisations module, you may only need to sync records for one Own Organisation which requires additional features in Zapier to achieve. See here for more details: https://zapier.com/app/billing/plans
  • QuickBooks Online Essentials or higher to access QuickBooks Payments and sync to Workbooks. https://quickbooks.intuit.com/uk/pricing/

Using a mixture of Zapier and a direct integration with QuickBooks Online via their API, Workbooks offers the following functionality:

  • A Zapier template to integrate Workbooks People and/or Organisations with Customer records in QuickBooks
  • A Zapier Template to push Workbooks CRM Invoices to QuickBooks Invoices with Line Items. Product information and Sales Tax Codes are also set as part of the integration.
  • A Zapier Template to push QuickBooks Payments back into Workbooks CRM Invoices & Tasks
  • An iFrame tab within CRM on Workbooks Products to lookup & populate QuickBooks Sales Tax Codes for use on Invoices
